  • 1940's - World War II and the military look appealed, again, less fabric - so the women wanted to look as great as the guys in their uniforms; leading to jackets with padded shoulders and cinched waists.   • 2010's - Wow! Seems like Vintage style and Retro feel are in! Designers are mixing the 80's and 90's and softening the look. Women want to show their style. Got to have an IT bag and coat!
